XBOCT and Ghostik join Team Spirit

Team Spirit and Fantastic Five are the two teams that have gone some changes in the roster recently and by doing so, they became the victims of five month roster lock down rule.

The changes in Team Spirit were made due to the extremely bad performance in the Manila Major regional qualifiers as the team failed to progress further and were taken down by Fantastic Five in the qualifiers. The defeat of Team Spirit resulted into the roster changes of both the teams.

Fantastic Five recently announced the departure of the carry and offlane players in the team, Alexander ‘XBOCT’ Dashkevich and Andrey ‘Ghostik’ Kadyk, respectively via a post on vk.

“Fantastic Five roster is having significant changes. We part way with Alexander ‘XBOCT’ Dashkevich and Andrew ‘Ghostik’ Kadyk. We want to thank these guys for their commitment and contribution into team’s establishment and development. We wish them success in the eSports scene.”

On the same side, Team Spirit allowed Ilya ‘Illidan’ Pivcaev and Andrey ‘ALWAYSWANNAFLY’ Bondarenko to leave the roster of the team as XBOCT and Ghostik joined the roster. The arrival of both of these players in the team will also bring some changes in the roles as well. On a brighter side, XBOCT will be playing with his old and former Natus Vincere’s team member, Gleb ‘Funn1k’ Lipatnikov. Funn1k will now play as a position four support while Ghostik will be replacing him on the offlane position in the team.

Have a look at the current team of Team Spirit after the recent roster changes.

  • Alexander ‘XBOCT’ Dashkevich – carry
  • Bogdan ‘Iceberg’ Vasilenko – mid-lane
  • Andrey ‘Ghostik’ Kadyk – offlane
  • Gleb ‘Funn1k’ Lipatnikov – support
  • Artur ‘Goblak’ Kostenko – support

The new roster of Team Spirit certainty looks promising but they won’t be eligible for the invite at The International 6 as they didn’t fulfill the Spring Shuffle rules. Now they’ve to make their spot in the main event via open qualifiers.
