Nanyang Championships season 2 starting in July


Nanyang Championships will be back with season 2

KeyTV has recently announced that the second season of the Nanyang Championships will be starting soon in the early phases of July. This decision looks quite interesting because the first season was conducted in November, last year.

After all the actions and accomplishment in the first season of the Nanyang Championships back in November last year in Singapore, the second season is going to start with bigger expectations from fans. For the second season, KeyTV has made some changes in the tournament including the change in the LAN Finals’ venue. But overall, the format of the tournament remains the same with $200,000 base prize pool along with best-of-three double elimination bracket and best-of-five grand finals.

This year, Nanyang Championships will happen at Shanghai, China from July 6th to 10th with eight teams featuring in the event. The invites for the tournament will be send on the basis of region with four teams being directly invited to the tournament from China, Europe, SEA and Americas. The other four teams participating in the tournament will be the qualifier winners from each of the above mentioned region.

  • 1st – $100,000
  • 2nd – $50,000
  • 3rd – $25,000
  • 4th – $10,000
  • 5th/6th – $7,500
