Canada Cup season 7 analysis – June 30th

Canada Cup season 7

Thursday, 30th of June

Most of the teams in DotA 2 professional scene were competing against each other in the open and regional qualifiers of The International 2016. Thus, the organization had to pause Canada Cup season 7 for quite a while. But now, most of the teams, which have been dropped out from The International 2016 qualifiers, are looking forward to compete in the Canada Cup season 7.

The last series in Canada Cup season 7 was played on June 15th between compLexity Gaming and EverNova where compLexity Gaming won the series 2-1. Now after exactly 15 days, we’ll be able to see the two best-of-three series between four teams that recently participated in the open qualifiers of The International 2016.

compLexity Gaming vs Friendship, Dedication, Love – 21:00 UTC

The first series of the day will be played between compLexity Gaming and Friendship, Dedication, Love. Our complete analysis for both the teams is given below.

compLexity Gaming’s playstyle

In of the videos on the official page of Facebook, Chessie explained the original playstyle of compLexity Gaming. He told the viewers that the whole squad of compLexity Gaming try to avoid the early team fights and clashes. He further elaborated that the supports in the team always rotate around the map in the early phases of the game to look for a solid pick-off either in the middle or safe-lane of the opponent team. Their rotations pretty much secure the game for them and it becomes easier for their cores to farm on the map.

Secondly, compLexity Gaming give as much space to their cores as they can in order to take the game in the late stages of the game where they can fight comfortably with heavy farm on their core heroes. Once they realize that they’ve entered the late stages of the game, they group up as five and start taking main objectives in the game.

Friendship, Dedication, Love’s playstyle

Friendship, Dedication, Love are new in the DotA 2 competitive scene but they stunned everyone with their excellent performance in The Summit 5. Although the players currently playing in the roster of Friendship, Dedication, Love are not so popular in the DotA 2 competitive scene, their playstyle, especially in the mid stages of the game is phenomenal and by chirping through the enemy cores, they easily take down the basic objective in the game.

Final prediction

Friendship, Dedication, Love might be playing phenomenally well in the DotA 2 competitive scene, but compLexity Gaming will always be ready to counter their strategy in the game.
